Brief

Hotel EMC2, Autograph Collection is a downtown Chicago staple, with a unique blend of art and science inspired design and an award-winning in house restaurant, the Albert.

97 Switch has been an ongoing partner for the hotel since before it opened in 2017, launching the original website and marketing – leading to winning the Marriott Hotel Opening of the Year in 2017.

In 2020, we helped the hotel navigate the pandemic and all of the challenges it brought with it for their digital presence.

In 2024, we have continued to support the hotel through a variety of marketing and website initiatives including a refreshed website, further promoting the hotel's unique personality with new design and technology. Through the continued partnership, the hotel is now ranked #1 on TripAdvisor in Chicago out of 210 hotels.

Gateways to Art & Science

Hotel EMC2 is known for their art and science inspired hotel, from their autonomous room service robots Leo & Cleo, to the inspired art selection found in each hallway. We emphasized these aspects on the website with sketches, periodic elements, and paintbrush mark graphic elements. The hotel's luxury feel and art deco inspired architecture is brought to life with gold gateways and thin line layouts.

2017 Hotel Opening of the Year

In 2016, 97 Switch partnered with Hotel EMC2, Autograph Collection to help them launch their hotel and restaurant in 2017. Working hand-in-hand with their team, we created a website and marketing strategy that led to Hotel EMC2 being awarded the 2017 Marriott Autograph Collection Hotel Opening of the Year.

97 Switch ensured an effective launch and continued success with 1800+ private event leads, a 10.2 to $1 ROI Direct Revenue on Marriott Plus, and the hotel is now ranked #1 on TripAdvisor in Chicago out of 210 hotels.
